Ok, so I have no clue how to be a "Blogger" but someone on an Ethiopian adoption board I frequent mentioned that she thought all adopted children needed to have a Blog about their adoption or they would grow up really maladjusted, or maybe she just said she wished she had done one, but whatever, here I am. So here are the basics . . . I am pretty sure most of you know this already, but just in case some unsuspecting soul happens to stumble over here, I don't want anyone to feel left out.
- I am married to a really sweet old man that I will call Mr. C, just kidding honey, you really aren't that old, I promise!
- I am a stay at home mom with a really expensive education in counseling that gets put to the test every day!
- I have 2 really rambunctious, crazy children; a 3 year old daughter that I will call Sister and a 20 month old son that I will call Brother (did you think of Berenstain Bears?)
- We are in the middle of an Ethiopian adoption. We are next on the referral list for an infant boy and could get the call any day!
Ok, so sadly that pretty much sums up my life. As soon as I figure out how to add links to this, I will add some other Blogs and sites that may be a bit more interesting to read . . . but keep checking back, I am bound to get better at this . . . and even if I don't, I bet you'll want to hear the news when we get the referral of our baby!!
